from the Zanser Alm: approx. 1 ½ to 2 hours

Starting from the Zanser Alm car park I hiked along the Tschantschenon brook at the foot of the Geisler peaks where the Adolf-Munkel Weg, one of the most beautiful high-altitude trails in the Dolomites, begins. It runs along the north face, gently rising and falling through light and airy Swiss stone pine forests. A fork then led me to the Gschnagenhardt Alm.
